Electron Microscope Engineer

As an Electron Microscope Engineer you will be part of the SEMTEM team responsible for Semiconductor Technology and Systems (STS). In-line electron microscopy inspections are required at various development steps to characterize the process and materials at the wafer level. You ensure a smooth intake of requests where you keep the focus on high quality TEM service. As technical expert you are up-to-date in TEM inspections on the possibilities and current limitations of the instruments with the focus on semiconductor materials. You follow up the different service qeues in collaboration with assistants, operations managers and specialists. You will make yourself familiar with the SEMTEM requests and take responsibility for high quality images and efficient first time right processing. You detect potential efficiency and quality problems and take action on these results. You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in close coöperation with tool suppliers, hardware and process engineers, industrial contractors researchers, device and process experts.

• You obtained a Master’s degree with some experience in the field of electron microscopy and/or process engineering.
• You can plan and organize your work on your own.
• You can work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• You have good communication and organizational skills.
• You are a a communicative team player with a fluent knowledge of English.
