Looking for an exciting and challenging role as a Senior Safety Engineer? Look no further! We're seeking a top-notch professional to join our team and take charge as a HAZOP/LOPA facilitator.
As a Senior Safety Engineer, you'll receive comprehensive training on HAZOP procedures to ensure that you're fully up to speed. Once trained, you'll be responsible for performing simulations and studies and maintaining an ongoing dialogue to ensure the accurate completion of ATEX-required HAC and ESD, as well as other HSE-related deliverables, such as SIL, HAZID, ALARP, fire and gas.
In addition to your HAZOP/LOPA facilitation duties, you'll also be responsible for procurement support, including the preparation and management of materials to be ordered.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to stay up to date on relevant legislation, legal requirements, standards, and codes of practice, such as VLAREM, CODEX, and ISO.
Functie eisen
- You have specific knowledge of Process Safety and/or Environmental Engineering
- You have 5 years experience within the chemical/petrochemical industry and experience with safety and risks
- You have a Master degree or experience within HSE
- You are a real team player
- Besides English, you are also proficient in Dutch to facilitate the Dutch speaking HAZOP teams, to understand and interpret the local Belgian legislation and requirements.
